The Tod’s Group, led by Italian entrepreneur Diego Della Valle, recently decided to stray away from the more fashionable, catwalk pleasing designs for their brand Fay, and return to the classic and iconic appearance that they are known for. Since the involvement of Arthur Arbesser as the latest creative director of the house, they wish to bounce back. Born and raised in Vienna, the creative vision of the brand believes that the innovative environment around him feeds his inspiration and the artistic career. “My job is a very personal expression of everything around me. People with whom I share my meals, my laughter and my life. They are also my mentors, so I ask them for advice which in turn inspires my work,” says the designer.
