Power Of Panache
We get up close and personal with designer and fashionista Seerrat Singh and dig deeper into her wardrobe essentials which is a healthy mix of Indian traditional wear alongside some western fusion dabbed with some minimal accessories to complete the look.

Tell us something about yourself and your work?

Being an independent and a happy woman is important and that’s what I have always been. I'm an independent woman who likes to make her own choices. I have a designer label of my own - Jo’s Fab Deva where we yearn to create out of the box Indo-Western clothes. We are in the process of settling up another base for the same and look forward that women feel confident and wonderful in our clothes.

Tell us something about your style?

Creativity & experimentation is my style spirit and hence I don't settle for a specific style. I am comfortable in both Indian and western ensembles but if given a choice, a black dress or a pair of jeans with a white kurta can get me anywhere.

For a party, a black sequined dress coupled with stilettoes is something that I can count upon. I follow a minimalistic approach to accessorise and usually believe that ‘less is more’ when it comes to accessories.

For a formal set up, you would see me wearing a business suit or a formal blazer with a knee-length skirt and if the occasion demands a traditional wear, I'm more than happy to be seen in suits and the accessories to go by !
