Excerpts from an interview with this power girl...

Having a background of the city, share some of your memorable moments.

I had stayed for some time in Patiala but we shifted to Panchkula and since then I have spent all my growing years here. I used to go for skating in Hansraj School, I was also the member of the tennis club and I have played long tennis at State level. Of course, the place where spend your childhood and where your family stays will always be close to your heart.

What is it about this city which you miss being in Mumbai?

More than anything else, it's my family. I've been trying to fight that for the longest time but I haven't succeeded so far. And Chandigarh has lesser people, pollution and more peace, which Mumbai does not, sadly.

How would you describe yourself?

I’m simple, strong headed and a typical Chandigarh girl. Well, I am very straight forward kind of person. If I don’t like anything I will say it straight on the face I don't care about the situation and to whom I'm speaking, which again is both a blessing and a curse. I am outgoing and I never get tired even if I work for 73 hours I can still be energetic and lively.

You have come a long way. How has been your journey like?
