Whenever I think of New York, it’ll instantly remind me of the amazing memories that I made during my trip for Fashion Week last September, but more importantly, how great it felt to set foot in Manhattan once again, almost two years since my last visit. Having studied in San Francisco, California for five years, I will never regret those last-minute plans of travelling to the Big Apple with my friends. For us, it was refreshing to escape the West Coast once in a while to experience the liveliness of the big city! No doubt, when this opportunity fell onto my lap, flying 15,000km to New York was like a dream come true. The City of Dreams is beautiful and inspiring, which explains why luxury fashion brand Coach has made it its muse this season. It’s clear that Creative Director, Stuart Vevers has left his past inspirations of the West and the Great Plains behind as he takes on a new direction. This new decade has presented the brand with an opportunity of change that comes with infinite possibilities and raw energy that’s translated onto its Spring/Summer 2020 collection. Here’s what I loved about the authentic energy that’s radiating from Coach this season.
