7 Candles For A Cutie!

How time flies! It seems like just the other day Kate stood outside the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in London in her blue polka-dot dress, proudly showing off her and William’s first royal bundle of joy.

Now that bundle has just celebrated his seventh birthday – and the once-shy, chubby-cheeked cutie has grown into a handsome young lad.

In two photos released by the palace to mark the occasion, Prince George sports a cheeky, gap-toothed grin, his tousled blond hair swept to the side.

As usual, the Duchess of Cambridge played official photographer, taking the pics of her eldest in the grounds of Anmer Hall in Norfolk, England, where she and Prince William (both 38) have been spending lockdown with their children.

Some fans thought George was “the spitting image of William”, while others believed he looked more like Kate’s side of the family, especially her dad, Michael Middleton, and brother, James (33).

Either way, he’s a cutie. And while he might come across as reserved and sensitive in public, those in the know say he’s actually a lot of fun in private.

George’s godmother Julia Samuel (60) says the prince’s sister, Princess Charlotte, gets a lot of attention because she’s more engaging and outgoing. But her godson isn’t to be underestimated.

“George is amazing,” she says. “He’s funny, feisty and cheeky and his grandmother Diana would’ve loved him so much.”

William has described his son as “a right little rascal sometimes, who keeps me on my toes, but who’s a sweet boy”.
