-Hi Gabriela, welcome to VENTS! How have you been?

I am well. I am very excited about life right now and what is coming up!

-So reading through your bio, I noticed a gap between Junior High to Senior Year – during that timeframe did you think about seeking a different career or study anything else? If so, what eventually get you to get back to acting?

I always wanted to be in the entertainment industry since I can remember. From Junior High to Senior year, growing up in Dothan, Alabama, there were not too many opportunities. I did my first couple of plays in Junior high then became very involved with competitive cheer and was the cheerleading captain at my high school. On top of that and school, I participated in the classic southern tradition of beauty pageants— hard to see myself in those shoes now. Because the theatre programs at my school were not as strong as I would have liked, I continued to study acting on my own and only focused on cheer and academics when it came to school.

-However it wasn’t until Inherit the Wind that you started taking your acting career seriously – what was it about that experience that make encouraged you to become an actress?
