X Factor star Jacqueline Faye on finding fame at 53.
After four weeks of auditions, The X Factor is about to get a lot tougher!
But it’s bye-bye Bootcamp as, this year, the hopefuls are heading straight to the much feared Six Chair Challenge.
Over two shows this weekend, and one next Saturday, each of the remaining acts in the four categories – Girls, Boys, Groups and Overs – must battle it out for one of six seats to win a place at the all-important Judges’ Houses.
One singer hoping that one of those six chairs has her name on it is Jacqueline Faye.
The 53-year-old, originally from South Wales, instantly won over judges Robbie and Ayda Williams, Simon Cowell and Louis Tomlinson at her first audition with the revelation that she lived on a farm in Oxfordshire with chickens, ducks, horses and two peacocks called Chas and Dave!
