John Barrowman’s ‘fabulous’ performance on last year’s I’m a Celebrity… won the hearts of the nation, and since then there’s been no stopping him!

In the new year, the versatile actor and entertainer will be back on our screens as the new Ice Panel judge on ITV’s Dancing on Ice, the first glimpse of which we’ll see in the show’s Christmas special.

But before that, the British-American star has fulfilled a lifelong ambition by releasing a Christmas album called A Fabulous Christmas (what else?!). He’ll also be bringing some festive cheer to theatres up and down the UK this month with an eight-date album tour.

In an exclusive interview with TV Times, John, 52, tells us why he’s looking forward to sitting in judgment on the ice-skating contest...

You competed in the very first series of Dancing on Ice back in 2006, so how do you feel now about returning to the show?
