BRITAIN’S BEST PARENT?

NEW THURSDAY / C4 / 8.05PM / EP 1 of 5 / FACTUAL

Raising children is one of the toughest jobs there is, and everyone approaches it differently. But the 12 families featured in C4’s brand-new series Britain’s Best Parent? think they have mastered the art!

Each week, three sets of parents showcase their approach by looking after a child from the other two families – and afterwards, all three teams meet up for a debrief with presenter Anita Rani in front of a studio audience (the series was filmed pre-lockdown).

Intrigued, TV Times called Anita, 42, to find out more…

How does the show work?

Every week we have three different parents with three distinct styles, who have all had the chance to parent each other’s children. In the studio, they then watch how their kids got on, and then they justify why they choose to bring their children up the way they do. The studio audience decide who has the best parenting style that week, and the winners of each of the four episodes go through to the final – and then we decide on Britain’s Best Parent!
