Happily ever

Sunday nights have been a somewhat tense affair recently thanks to BBC1’s surrogacy thriller The Nest, starring Sophie Rundle, Martin Compston and newcomer Mirren Mack.

And as the Glasgow-set five-part series comes to an end with the final two episodes over Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, we’re promised plenty more twists in the tale!

In last week’s instalment, vulnerable teen Kaya (played by Mirren), who’s acting as a surrogate for wealthy couple Dan and Emily (Martin and Sophie), gave birth by emergency caesarean to a premature baby girl following the terrible chain of events at the school prom she attended with boyfriend Jack (Samuel Small).

Here, in an exclusive interview with TV Times, Sophie, 31, tells us what she can about the drama to come…

What new strain does Emily and Dan’s relationship come under?
