There seems to be a growing trend of villagers leaving their babies in the car. Megan did it with daughter Eliza a few years ago when she was running late for a meeting, and this week Paddy makes the same error with his and Chas’ little girl, Eve. Perhaps Brenda needs to give out free espressos to keep everyone on their toes?
In Paddy’s case, his gaffe happens when he’s caught up in a drama with Marlon. His friend is suffering with anxiety following his wrongful imprisonment for Graham’s murder, which rockets when some coppers turn up on his doorstep. In an effort to cheer him up, Paddy takes him for a drive, and brings along Eve in her car seat.
