Alya Nazir has always been stubborn – and one day, hopefully, Yasmeen is going to be thankful to her for that. The headstrong businesswoman has realised Geoff Metcalfe is a monster, controlling every aspect of her gran’s life. And she won’t rest until Yas is out of his clutches.
Alya has long tried to open Yasmeen’s eyes to Geoff’s behaviour, but she realises she needs to up her game when her gran announces they’re moving to Cyprus.
‘She fears that once Geoff gets Yasmeen out of the country, it will be even harder to free her from his control,’ says Sair Khan, who plays Alya.
