One of the most hotly anticipated festive TV treats hits our screens this Christmas as Gavin & Stacey returns with a one-off special.
Almost 10 years since we last saw them, writers James Corden and Ruth Jones are reuniting the whole gang, as the Billericay-based Shipmans head to Barry Island for Christmas with the Wests.
As we rejoin them, Gavin (Mathew Horne) and Stacey (Joanna Page) are struggling with parenthood, while Nessa (Ruth Jones) has her own parenting style and Smithy (James Corden) can’t wait to spend Christmas with their son, Neil the Baby, now aged 12.
Pam (Alison Steadman) moans to Mick (Larry Lamb) about having to spend Christmas in
Wales, while Uncle Bryn (Rob Brydon) is bracing himself for having to cook Christmas dinner for over 13 people. TV&Satellite Week chatted to Jones, 53, to find out more…
