AN AMERICAN woman has been accused of trying to smuggle a baby out of the Philippines.
Jennifer Talbot, 42, allegedly agreed to adopt the infant from a teenage mom she’d met online and was caught at the Manila airport with the six-day-old boy in her carrying bag, authorities said.
“There was really intended to conceal and sneak out the baby,” said Manuel Dimaano of the Philippines’ National Bureau of Investigation.
