Brother Vs. brother as Queen of Soul’s kin fight over her fab $80M fortune
The fight over soul queen Aretha Franklin’s $80 million fortune has turned into an ugly street brawl amid charges by her kin of theft, forgery and dirty tricks!
The Michigan court battle has Aretha’s sons Kecalf Cunningham, 49, and Edward Franklin, 62, squaring off against brother Teddy Richards, 55, and the singer’s niece Sabrina Owens. There’s also a fourth brother, Clarence Franklin, 65.
Kecalf accuses estate administrator Owens of keeping the heirs in the dark, handing out jobs to friends and relatives, cutting off their monthly allowance and ripping off the singer’s fleet of cars, say court papers.
