Queen of Soul’s niece seeks respect in war for $80M fortune
Soul icon Aretha Franklin’s niece Sabrina Owens scored a bombshell victory in the bitter battle over the late superstar’s $80 million fortune when a judge declared she remains executor until a tangle over three wills is sorted out.
Owens and Aretha’s sons Teddy, 55, and Clarence, 64, are locked in a vicious feud over the fortune, with the singer’s other sons, Edward, 62, and Kecalf, 49, who charge their cousin has been ripping off the estate since the star died of cancer at 76 last summer.
