Sweet potato-carrot soup with cinnamon
2 cups chopped sweet potatoes
2 cups chopped carrots
1½ cups warm water
½ cup chopped onion
¼ cup coconut oil
1 tsp cinnamon powder
¼ tsp clove powder
¼ tsp all-spice
¼ tsp powdered nutmeg
• Steam the sweet potatoes and carrots until done. Blend with the water until smooth.
• Add the onion, coconut oil, and spices to the puree, blending again until well mixed.
• Reheat in a saucepan on a low flame, and serve hot.
