JEE (Main) The first step starts with JEE (Main). This national-level examination is conducted twice a year for admissions in 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 25 IIITs and 28 CFTIs. More importantly, the candidates who qualify (245,000 students qualified last year) will be eligible to appear for JEE (Advanced). Besides, several private universities consider JEE (Main) scores for admissions to B.Tech courses.
