It’s been seventy-two years since one of the biggest mass migrations in the world; since our ancestors locked their comfort back in Sindh and ran to build a life from scratch again.
More often than not, our grandparents have been the narrators of our story sessions. When asked about their childhood, their words not only painted a beautiful picture but also conveyed their heart’s deepest desire, a one-way ticket back to that time! As they earnestly shared such stories, they had hope hope that their children would see what they once saw, and experience the togetherness and rich values of our culture just like they did.
