21 Things To Do This Easter

1. SOLVE A PUZZLE AT THE PALACE EASTER TRAIL AT THE BISHOP’S PALACE - 4-19 APRIL

Over the Easter holidays, young visitors to the Bishop’s Palace in Wells can take part in the Palace Easter Trail. Using baby animal-themed clues, the puzzle trail leads through the gardens, with a prize awaiting at the Visitor Reception for those who manage to get to the end.

Trail included in normal garden admission. Under fives are free. bishopspalace.org.uk

2 . IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE GEORGIANS COPLESTONE AND THE GRAND TOUR - 4-19 APRIL

Hestercombe has an unusual Easter trail for families this year, which goes back to Georgian times for its inspiration. Different areas of the historic gardens were inspired by the countries across Europe that the Georgians would encounter on their Grand Tour style holidays. Youngsters will enjoy trying to find the garden’s owner and designer, Coplestone Bampfylde, in a Where’s Wally style challenge with a sweet reward at the end of it. Adults may like to visit the exhibition, Coplestone Warre Bampfylde: A Gentleman of Taste, which celebrates his life and includes the largest survey of his artworks and objects ever seen in one place.

Normal admission applies + £2.50 per trail. hestercombe.com

3. AMAZING BABY ANIMALS BRISTOL ZOO EASTER TRAIL - 4-19 APRIL
