Whether you want to work in consultancy, bookkeeping, tutoring, or another field, technological advances have made it easier than ever for a variety of employment opportunities to be undertaken from home. Potential home business-owners needn’t be put off by the thought of striking out alone either: 96% of UK private sector businesses – or 5.6 million micro-businesses – had less than 10 employees in 2019, showing that small really can be powerful.
