It is a common misperception that freshly slaughtered poultry is better than the frozen variant, but industry experts share that frozen poultry is equally delicious and nutritious, and is definitely more economical and convenient. In addition, as most consumers do not immediately use the freshly slaughtered chicken procured from supermarket chillers, they tend to place them in the freezer sections of household refrigerators which are not designed for quick freezing leading to a situation where bacteria may multiply rapidly before freezing temperatures are reached. In today’s fast-paced world, preparing healthy home-cooked meals may seem like a challenge, especially if one has to juggle work, family and other commitments. Some of the common problems that working parents may face include food wastage, as they tend to buy more raw meats and vegetables than they can use over the following week. Often plans may change, and they find themselves tossing out unused meats and vegetables that are no longer edible.
