THE STAR RETURNS TO HER MUSICAL ROOTS AND OPENS UP ON THE LESSONS SHE’S LEARNED
Ricki-Lee Coulter ‘I went too far'

It’s been two years since Ricki-Lee Coulter released new music. But now she’s back with an absolute banger, ‘Last Night’. The song unapologetically celebrates Coulter’s physical connection with her husband Richard Harrison 10 years after they first got together and five years into their “blissful” marriage. The track also lays bare a happier, more open, and comfortable in her skin Coulter. “I’ve got great people around me now,” the 34-year-old says. “I feel more supported, challenged, inspired, motivated – and loved than ever before.”

‘Last Night’ is a real ‘get a room guys’ track. What was your inspiration there?

I didn’t want to write a gooey, soppy love song. I wanted an anthem. The day I walked into the studio I was high on love, just drunk in love actually! You know when you’re just obsessed with someone? It’s about that crazy kind of love.

Your husband must be thrilled. You guys are still super loved-up then?

Yes, we’re really cool. It’s 10 years on from the night when we first met and this song is a celebration of that. I just wanted to immortalise that time in our life.

Why do you two work so well together?
