Since meeting seven years ago, Nakkiah Lui, 29, and Miranda Tapsell, 32, have become firm friends. The actresses/writers also have a habit of working together – on 2017 podcast Pretty for an Aboriginal and in a memorable appearance in the Season 2 finale of Get Krack!n. On Tue., Jun. 16, they released their latest podcast, Debutante: Race, Resistance & Girl Power (audible.com.au/debutante), about how Aboriginal communities have embraced a white colonial tradition – debutante balls – and made it their own.
