Wade’s (Dean John Smith) life has been in ruins for some time. He lost the love of his life Zoe (Lauren Joseph) in March when she married Tim (Marco Spaumer). And now his brother Ty (Maurice Paige) has a life-threatening brain tumour. The only joy Wade has in all of the sadness is his attraction to Joy (Monique Rockman), who recently moved into Ruiterbosch. “Joy is a fresh breeze for Wade, and she isn’t part of his life baggage,” says Dean. But what Wade doesn't know is that Joy also has secrets and they’re secrets that could hamper a relationship for them. And Zoe’s jealousy is a problem too…
