Louis (Germandt Geldenhuys) and his wife Naomi (Je-ani Swiegelaar) luckily escaped with their lives in late April when Nagskof burnt down as Alice (Laré Birk) tried to murder Louis. Alice returned for revenge, still believing that Louis was guilty for her matric car crash and the scars she was left with. But while Alice didn’t get what she wanted, there may be a consolation prize: wrecking their marriage.
“Louis and Naomi are still in shock after almost dying in the blaze and Louis has lost his business. In the back of her mind, Naomi questions how well she knows her husband, having just got married at the end of 2019,” says Je-ani. “She knew who Alice was and that Louis was betrothed to Alice’s sister Tracey (Corné Crous) in 2017, but Louis wasn’t honest about Tracey, or Alice’s murder plan. It makes Naomi wonder if she can trust Louis. ”
