But when Reese Witherspoon’s husband Jim Toth quit his job as a top-ranked agent at CAA to helm the new streaming service Quibi, he assured his famous wife that it was a risk worth taking. “He told her he was up for the challenge,” an insider says. “He felt confident that he would bring home millions.”

As it turns out, he lost much more. Less than seven months after it made its heavily publicized debut, the $2 billion bite-sized streaming experiment is folding — and Jim and Reese’s marriage is in danger of doing the same. “Tensions are at an all-time high between them,” the insider reveals. “They’re fighting so much, it’s hard for them even to be in the same room together, and people close to them are saying that their marriage is on the brink of collapse.”
