What’s your workout routine?
“Right now, it’s rock climbing. I climb as much as I possibly can, four times a week if I can make it happen. I have what’s called a hang board in my apartment. My girlfriend, who climbs as well, and I both use that as a training tool when we can’t get to the gym or outside. And then I’ve also been loving Olympic lifting recently, squats in particular. I feel like it’s helping my posture, but bulking up too much is not something I’m interested in right now. On this show, in particular, I want to stay in a nice middle ground. I must admit a particular affinity for actors like Christian Bale losing weight for The Machinist or when Jared Leto put on weight to play John Lennon’s killer or like Joaquin Phoenix in Joker, for having that level of commitment.”
