Ridge Gets Closer To Shauna
Unaware that Ridge is in Las Vegas with Shauna, Brooke frantically tries to reach her husband to explain about the kiss with Bill. However, Ridge ignores all of her calls and texts. “They’ve been down this road too many times before,” reasons Thorsten Kaye of Ridge’s cold shoulder. “Knowing where this road leads, sometimes it makes you make other decisions, which is why he is where he is. I don’t know about Ridge but me personally, I would have loved to have taken that call from Brooke, just to see what she could have come up with.”
Ridge, however, focuses on his connection with Shauna. “Ridge is enjoying this thing with Shauna because it’s a new and exciting change of pace,” notes Kaye. “With her, there’s no baggage. When Ridge looks at Shauna, he doesn’t see her making out with someone else. There is an innocence about the relationship that Shauna and Ridge have. She has never taken advantage of him, and it doesn’t have the weight that his relationship with Brooke has. Thank goodness it doesn’t! And, it’s Denise Richards [as Shauna]. Who wouldn’t want to get to know her better?”
