After taking a noticeable step out of the spotlight in recent years, Sarah Harding took to social media to share the devastating news that she was battling with “advanced” breast cancer.
Sharing a selfie of herself from what appeared to be a hospital bed, the 38-year-old star wrote to her followers, “Earlier this year I was diagnosed with breast cancer and a couple of weeks ago I received the devastating news that the cancer has advanced to other parts of my body. I’m currently undergoing weekly chemotherapy sessions and I am fighting as hard as I possibly can.”
Sarah was soon flooded with messages of support from fans and friends, including her former Girls Aloud bandmates. Cheryl Tweedy shared an icon of a broken heart on her Twitter, while Nadine Coyle wrote, “I love you! You have always been able to achieve miracles when needed!”
