Rebekah Vardy made a defiant return to the spotlight last week when she confirmed she would be taking part in the next series of Dancing On Ice.
Announcing the news on Instagram, she wrote, “Looking forward to some fun.”
Now a source close to the 38-year-old WAG has told new she’s hoping the show will help improve her reputation and bring the public onside amid her ongoing legal battle with Coleen Rooney.
“Rebekah is adamant she wants to clear her name – that’s it,” revealed our insider. “Dancing On Ice is another way to gain popularity. She wants to win favour with everyone. This is like a popularity contest for her.”
Appearing on Good Morning Britain, Becky, who will be joining the likes of Faye Brookes, Myleene Klass, Billie Shepherd and Denise Van Outen on the show in January, opened up about her devastation following her fall out with Coleen.
