But his latest role, as notorious north London serial killer Dennis Nilsen, is one of his most shocking parts yet. David, 49, plays the psychopath, who was convicted of murdering six men in 1983, in ITV’s new true crime drama Des, alongside Daniel Mays as the detective investigating him.
