David Tennant is used to playing a bad guy (just check out his chilling turn in Jessica Jones as Kilgrave, widely cited as one of the best villains in the Marvel universe). But his latest role, as notorious north London serial killer Dennis Nilsen, is one of his most shocking parts yet. David, 49, plays the psychopath, who was convicted of murdering six men in 1983, in ITV’s new true crime drama Des, alongside Daniel Mays as the detective investigating him.
