There’s no doubt that Kim Kardashian West has had an intense 12 months. Since the last series of KUWTK aired last May, Kim has dealt with a stream of traumatic incidents – the main one being bound, gagged and held at gunpoint in a Paris hotel room last October.
But with Kim beginning to get back to her old self (after the 36-year old’s three-month social media hiatus following the Paris robbery) she’s now been forced to relive the traumatic incident, after the new series of KUWTK aired last night,exclusively on reality streaming service Hayu and this weekend on E!
We’re told the star’s found it tough to be back on screen after the incident.
‘For Kim, it’s opened up old wounds,’ a close pal tells Look. ‘She’s been doing really well since the incident, keeping herself busy, focusing on her family and being careful about what she posts on social media. But with the first episode airing this week, it’s dragged up a lot of emotions for Kim.’
We were able to have an early look and, for the first time ever, Kim speaks out about what really happened during the robbery, admitting: ‘I feared for my life,’ and telling her sisters: ‘[The robbers were] going to shoot me in the back. [There was] no way out.’
Fan of Kim or not, it’s pretty uncomfortable viewing. Not only does she appear completely traumatised, she’s also totally vulnerab
