Last week, Michelle Keegan and mark Wright celebrated their third wedding anniversary….

Michelle Woman On Top

When Michelle Keegan first started appearing in Look magazine, she was a small-time soap actress, playing Tina McIntyre on the cobbles of Coronation Street. But while the Street was a fine place to spend the early part of her career (Michelle ‘loved it’ as she confirmed to us several times), we always knew she was destined for much, much bigger things.

Enter: Mark Wright. The pair met on a trip to Dubai in 2012 (the couple spent part of their honeymoon there to attest to that) and it’s said to be their desire to live in Mark’s hometown in Essex that gave Mich the push to quit Corrie and pursue her big-screen dreams.

She announced her Weatherfield departure in June 2014, and bagged (the first of many) high street collaborations with Lipsy clothing and then a huge beauty deal with Revlon. Michelle and Mark got hitched in 2015, with Michelle scoring the coveted role of Georgie Lane in BBC’s Our Girl a year later – her first big break after Corrie that secured her several further leading roles.

Fast forward to 2018 and the actress, who last week celebrated her third wedding anniversary, is now working with E-tailer extraordinaire Very. ‘I feel much more confident in my own style now,’ she told us. She has expanded her range with Very to include homeware and fitness, while pursuing Hollywood auditions alongside husband Mark. Basically, it’s been a hell of a decade.

Why is Michelle our high street No1? She’s totally down to earth, approachable and always in a good mood, and our Mich has been a dream to interview – and she’s loved by you lot, too.
