It’s not every day that I genuinely get excited about a car. But, that changed late last year when Peugeot South Africa relaunched the brand back into the country with its 108, a little city runner!
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
At first glance, the Peugeot 108 grabs your attention. From the front, the lion emblem proudly placed on its chunky bonnet draws your eye to its chromed grille, stylish headlights and LED daytime running lights. To the rear, the light cluster features Peugeot’s striking three-claw design, giving the car a feline appearance.
THE INTERIOR
On the inside, the little city runner is surprisingly spacious, considering its size. It is also comfortable, with a good selection of features and technology that aren’t often found in a car of this segment. For instance, this beauty is a connect car, so it quite literally becomes the mirror of its user’s smartphone. This is thanks to the large touchscreen and mirror screen function that allows you to operate your smartphone from the car via voice commands.
