What inspired you to start a female-focused advertising agency?

Cuma: I’ve always dreamt of starting my own business. And, I knew that it had to be purpose-driven for it to fulfil and inspire me. Women have so much to offer the world, and there are issues pertaining to them that are often ignored or not prioritised by society, government and corporates. Asante Blush was born to elevate women’s voices and serve them well. Zama: Telling women’s stories has been a lifelong passion of mine, and it grew when I started working in agencies where I crafted specific messages for consumers. Our agency offering includes research, strategy, creative and content creation. We create campaigns and other creative solutions for clients who want to speak to consumers, mainly women, in an authentic way.
