But with Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) and IT becoming more consumer-centric, businesses are now fighting two battles at the same time. The influx of user-friendly consumer devices and applications into the corporate network made it difficult for businesses to protect the employees from malicious attacks and prevent sensitive business data from falling into the wrong hands. The sudden switch to remote-working mode during the COVID-19 crisis has just added to the woes.
