''Revenue sharing is likely to be the new normal for the short to mid-term. Physical retail will have to go hand-in-hand with a strong omnichannel presence and include audio-visual and touchless aspects that were previously considered unnecessary. Technology will be a massive influencer in how retail spaces in India, as well as the rest of the world, will be designed and operated.”

Regarding your recent partnership with Vindico, what are the specific services you will be offering to clients?

ANAROCK Retail and Vindico will provide specialized services to ensure the success of retail stores in the post-pandemic world. The combined services will include innovative construction management and project delivery, as well as leasing support to both mall owners and retailers. In short, we will help design malls and individual stores to align with the overall blueprint and branding objectives, and also ensure that the spaces are leased out to suitable players. The whole package is geared towards a successful mall opening and takes about a year to deploy.

The solutions are called ‘scientific, success-oriented design solutions’. Can you explain that in detail?
