• Aval - 1/4 cup
• Jaggery - 1/4 cup
• Coconut milk - 1/4 cup
• Powdered cardamom seed - 2 nos
• Ghee - 2 teaspoon
• Water - as much as required
• Roasted cashews – 10 nos
Heat a pan with a tablespoon of ghee and roast the cashews. Set it aside. Clean the aval. In the same pan, roast the cleaned aval and cardamom together until the aval becomes crispy and turns a little brown. Allow it to cool.
Now, take the water in a bowl and add the aval. Mix it well. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Stir in between and check the water level. Add more water if needed. It thickens after a few minutes.
