Current Approaches To Teaching Cannot Deliver High Quality Education

They are more competitive in nature, which they have to be because of the competition for good careers and jobs in the present day scenario. These modern students have more willingness to learn, are eager to know about new things and are totally up-to-dated with current technologies and innovations. Moreover they always keep a track of all the important things happening all around the world, on an everyday basis. Thus modern students are themselves a total package.

The modern day students require teachers who more likely play the role of guiders or mentors. Gone are the days where teachers use to built a student from A to Z, i.e. from building their knowledge on every subject to building their character and personalities. The 21st century students can know how to build themselves, but they require someone who will guide them to the correct path. Here comes the role of a modern day teacher. Today the role of the teacher is to guide the students well to the correct path, make the students recognize of their positivity’s and negativities’, make the student work on its positivity and set aside its negativity, make a student realize of its strength and weakness and be a confidence booster for students. So today’s teacher are more a counsellor than a teacher.

These roles seem to be easy, but the bitter truth is that, the Morden teachers are miserably failing of what they should need to do. The current approaches of teaching are failing to deliver high quality education. This may be due to the fact that the students are well equipped and the teachers cannot cope up with it or it may be because the modern day syllabus is not good enough to meet the educational level of a student. Whatever may be reasons, it has been found in recent students that the current teaching methods are miserably failing to deliver high quality education.
