SOCOE spearheads Digital Economy Initiatives in Sarawak with disruptive technologies

The proliferation of cloud-based technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), and cybersecurity in recent years has made it possible for Sarawak, Land of the Hornbill, to turn the state into a digital economic powerhouse, as envisioned by Chief Minister Abang Johari Openg. Sarawak has launched digital initiatives, such as Sarawak Pay for e-payment, and plans to implement SMART City systems to manage traffic efficiency and much more.

Sarawak-based technology company SOCOE Sdn Bhd (SOCOE) has proven to be a successful key player in Sarawak’s digital economic journey. SOCOE aims to close the digital divide in Sarawak. Focused on being human-centric, the company prioritises the needs of their clients in ensuring that the tech solution fits their requirements.

SOCOE does not isolate itself from one specific group. “We don’t believe that some people are more important than others. Here at SOCOE, we pride ourselves on helping anyone transition to a more tech-savvy lifestyle. A lifestyle that will aid in growth, communication, and networking,” says Samuel Wong, CEO of SOCOE.
