Despite the lockdown your performance in the first quarter was very impressive. How have you been able to achieve that?
Aarvi Encon provides technical manpower and engineers to various companies in India. We have more than 3,500 engineers on our rolls working at various locations in India and abroad. Regarding our performance, there have been multiple factors leading to posting good results in the first quarter. Our client base is largely in sectors providing essential services like CGD, LPG, refinery, etc. These services were 100 per cent operational during the lockdown. There have been instances where we have been asked to mobilise additional resources during the lockdown. This has been an incremental business with the existing clients. We also have multiple international projects that are ongoing.
As we have a large database across different countries and expertise in deputing engineers, we were able to support our clients by deputing local manpower and also of different nationalities. It enabled us to support our clients by mobilising manpower even during the lockdown period without disruption caused by various restrictions, as for example, air travel, visa etc. We had sensed the possibility of lockdown and provided necessary support for our employees to work from home seamlessly. In additional to the operational efficiency, our cash flow positions have improved on receipt of a major Income Tax refund order.
What is your outlook on major revenue segments of Aarvi Encon?
