Our pick for this month is Hublot’s Classic Fusion Ferrari GT inspired by the “Gran Turismo” universe.
Specially designed for connoisseurs interested in fine mechanical pieces, the watch features a transparent dial in sapphire crystal, encircled in a red thread that highlights the iconic Ferrari colour. The timepiece is available in three different cases — titanium, king gold and 3D carbon. This 45mm Hublot creation is fitted with a black rubber strap covered in Schedoni leather just like the seats of the Maranello historical racing cars. Powered by the UNICO HUB1280 calibre movement with column wheel, the timepiece has a power reserve of 72 hours. hublot.com
Over the years, innumerable leaps in technology have resulted in the creation of airplanes that fly higher, faster and longer. Better mechanisms are now being used to ensure that travel is safer and even more cost-efficient. This constant endeavour to build better airplanes on the outside has also trickled inwards – to the passenger cabin – giving rise to a class of passengers that are even more discerning and particular about their ‘experience’ when they fly.
A subset amongst these travellers are those who travel business class. They expect a range of luxury amenities and special care onboard that commensurate the airline charges.
