GALEON 400 FLY
Motor Boat & Yachting|November 2020
It’s the smallest model in the Galeon range to boast folding cockpit balconies but is there more to the 400 Fly than this performative party piece?
Jack Haines
GALEON 400 FLY
The well-trodden routine of dropping the anchor includes a crucial extra step onboard the Galeon 400 Fly. Once the usual depth checks, windlass operations and mark-taking have been dealt with, this important final stage is, within this class, unique to the Galeon. A couple of switches either side of the cockpit doors are the key to the boat’s party piece; hold them down for around 20 seconds and in that time, a pair of balconies will have deployed on either side of the cockpit and nearly doubled the amount of usable floor space.
