Silver Celebrations
In a true Volkswagen Bus Club Nederland (VWBCN) tradition they organised not one but two meetings in 2019, one in spring and one in autumn to mark 25 years since the founding of the club.
THEO MOSMAN

Both meetings were fully loaded with events and happenings and that drew a great variety of visitors and vehicles from all over Europe. Here is a combined report of both Dutch meetings.

The VWBCN is a club for owners and fans of the VW T1-T2-T3(T25)T4-T5-T6 as well as LT1-LT2 and Crafter buses/vans. It doesn’t matter, air-cooled or water-cooled, rusty or restored, camper or commercially used, syncro or slammed, everyone can join the VWBCN as long as it is with a VW bus. The club started with a just a few but has grown over the years to approx. 1700 members. Its aim is to bring VW bus owners together an supply them with information and advice in a relaxing atmosphere.

The VWBCN started in 1994 and that means that this year they celebrated their 25th anniversary. They celebrated this by organising an international spring-meeting in Vessem in the south of Holland and an autumn meeting in Zeewolde, which is actually the reclaimed land in the centre of the Netherlands.
