Taking a peep at a highly desirable VW Bus few of us will ever see in its ‘Exclusiv’ finery

Brochure Line - A 2.6 litre T3!

This month’s brochure, a sixteen page affair including two fold outs, features outstandingly sharp imagery with imaginative, some would say stunning, backgrounds. Altogether the presentation is luxurious, which is highly appropriate for the VW Buses featured, the 1998 versions of what we would call the T3. Just a minute though, production of the third generation Transporter ceased in 1990 (except syncro models), didn’t it? Let’s confuse you further, for this brochure features the 2.3i Microbus and a range of 2.6i models, which include both the Microbus Exclusiv and the Caravelle Exclusiv. For heaven’s sake, what dribble he writes, you chorus! Fuel injected engines of such sizes simply didn’t exist and he can’t even spell ‘exclusive’ correctly.

Since we’ve owned it, we have been to numerous car shows with our car club Kahiko Kula and enjoy that immensely, but taking it camping is our joy.
