The Virgin Australia Supercars Championship is set for its biggest shake-up since the introduction of a multi-round format in 1969.
Work is well underway on a transition to a summer-based series in a bid to avoid the AFL and NRL seasons and get into better weather periods. The 2019/2020 season shapes as a transitional schedule ahead of a full summer move.
