Maruti Suzuki Swift Gets 2 Stars In Global NCAP Crash Test

The latest version of the Maruti Suzuki Swift with standard double airbags, and ISOFIX (i-size) anchorages, reached two stars in Adult Occupant Protection and two stars for Child Occupant Protection in the Global NCAP crash test.

This was the latest update released by Global NCAP to its #SaferCarsForIndia crash test results. Barely a few weeks back, the Global NCAP crash test had given 4 stars to the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza for adult occupant protection. The Renault Lodgy without air bags scored a zero in a similar crash test by Global NCAP, a UK based charity which conducts crash tests on cars for safety purposes. Renault India said later in a press statement that its products meet and exceed the regulations set by the Indian government controlled Automotive Research Association of India. ARAI.
