Unless your name is either Hans Werner Aufrecht or Erhard Melcher, this whole exercise of reading about AMG won’t go in vain. As you must know, the performance arm of Mercedes-Benz or AMG (Aufrecht Melcher Großaspach) was once a separate entity created to produce highly focussed, race-oriented Mercedes cars. It made such an impactful entry in the history books and the hearts of millions of car enthusiasts, that it’s nigh on impossible to not want your very own AMG. Even today, when AMG has continued to exist for more than 50 years.
