Tom Pattle, owner of P&S Marine, tells the tale of moving an Eiger to his yard to replace a faithful Andes
P &S Marine is a boatyard on the inland waterways of the UK, which has been operating a C41B NCK Andes for 15 years.
Having road access for full-length wide beam canal boats, they are well located close to London to lift newly built boats off road transport and into the water. However, with full width wide beam boats becoming ever more popular, the 30-ton lifting capacity of the Andes was starting to become restrictive.
